Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

This disclaimer applies when you visit this site, read configuration guides, or use our download directory to find software. Read it before installing a client or changing network settings. It explains the scope and limits of our information services. It does not replace software license agreements or limit any rights granted to you by applicable law.

1. Site purpose and scope

This site is the official V2Ray website, offering user guides and a software download directory. Its content covers v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, subscription imports, system proxy settings, routing, and TUN mode. The site name and navigation categories help you find information; they do not mean that we operate every client, core, subscription, or network service mentioned.

We provide configuration instructions and links to software, but do not provide nodes or subscription accounts, or guarantee that a connection will work. Clients, cores, and subscription services are separate components; installing a client does not mean you have a working configuration. For third-party software licenses, terms, and restrictions, refer to the license information supplied with that software.

2. Software and configuration risks

You are responsible for deciding whether software is suitable for your device, operating system version, and intended use, and for any risks arising from your actions. Importing a subscription, granting network permissions, or enabling TUN mode may change traffic routing, DNS resolution, and local network access. Incorrect settings, software conflicts, or unexpected exits may interrupt connections, make apps unavailable, or leave network settings behind.

Before making changes, save your existing settings and learn how to stop the proxy and restore your system's network settings. Do not publicly share subscription URLs, access credentials, or logs containing personal information. For work devices, managed networks, or critical business environments, obtain any required authorization and arrange a way to safely roll back tests. Follow the laws where you are and the rules governing the networks you use.

3. Guide accuracy and version differences

Guides reflect the versions available when they were written or last revised. Client interfaces, menu labels, permission prompts, and default settings may change between releases, while operating system updates may affect installation and connection steps. Screenshots and settings shown on this site illustrate features; they do not mean every version offers the same options or guarantee compatibility with any particular device.

We do our best to keep the information accurate, but cannot guarantee that it will always be complete, current, or suitable for every environment. If the interface looks different, an error message does not match, or a setting is missing, check your client and system versions first. Avoid repeating unfamiliar steps without understanding them. See Frequently Asked Questions for troubleshooting, or follow the user guide to review the steps.

4. Download links and external websites

Download links may redirect or forward you to software distribution resources, and our guides may refer to external materials. The availability, content, and terms of those resources are controlled by their providers and may change, become unavailable, or expire. Listing a link does not mean we endorse everything on the destination page or guarantee that it will remain available.

After leaving this site, review the destination service's privacy policy and terms, and confirm the software name, supported platform, and device architecture. Assess independently whether a third party's request for account details, payment, or additional permissions is necessary. We do not enter into agreements with third parties on your behalf or assume responsibility for their services.

5. Limitation of liability and updates

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable beyond our statutory obligations for losses caused by reliance on information from this site, incorrect software configuration, third-party service issues, or changes in network conditions. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or releases any party from liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where required by law.

We may revise this disclaimer as our services or content change and update the date at the top of the page. If you find a possible issue in a guide or encounter unexpected behavior, pause the relevant changes and consult the complete documentation and troubleshooting guidance in the FAQ. Before submitting details about an issue, remove subscription URLs, personal information, and access credentials.
